The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 2,013 new listings were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in July, which is 17.8 per cent higher than the same month last year, 9.2 per cent higher than the 10-year average and the most new listings in the month of July.

The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1803 sales were processed through the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in March. The month’s all-property sales set a new high for the month of March, surpassing the record set just last year by 22.2 per cent.

There were 2,197 properties listed in March, an increase of 17.5 per cent compared to March of last year and 6.5 per cent higher than the 10-year average for new listings in the month.

Ottawa, January 17, 2016 — The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) along with other Mortage Insurers is hiking the cost of mortgage loan insurance for homebuyers starting March 17th, as part of new regulatory requirements requiring CMHC to hold more capital to offset risks in the country’s hot real estate market.

the same month last year and set a new high for the month of January.

Sales were 5.6 per cent higher than the same month last year - which had the record for November sales – and set a new high for the month of November.

OCTOBER SALES STRONG; INVENTORY 
REMAINS LOW

The REALTORS® Association of Hamilton-Burlington (RAHB) reported 1,418 sales were processed through 
the RAHB Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) System in October. Sales were 0.3 per cent higher than the same 
month last year, and broke the monthly sales record for October, set just last year. 

There were 1,771 properties listed in October, a decrease of 3.2 per cent compared to October of last year.
